Abstract |
The presentation starts by giving theoretical input on problem-solving approach and mainly the use of Bloom’s taxonomy. This taxonomy is very effective for teachers to be systematic about how to encourage students to use their higher order thinking skills. The ultimate goal of all of this is to enable students to think about their world critically. To clarify this, the presenters will present some sample activities they have developed from different Omani English syllabuses. |
