The Center for Preparatory Studies at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) invites you to submit proposals to The Oman 23rd ELT International Conference on Future-Ready ELT: Merging Language Learning with Critical Life Skills. The conference aims to bring scholars and practitioners in academia to share best practices and explore innovative ways of teaching and learning in the evolving context of ELT. In addition to its focus on ELT, the conference will also shed light on other critical life skills of learning and teaching Math and IT. The conference welcomes original empirical as well as theoretical research-based submissions.
 
The Oman 23rd ELT International Conference to be held on April 17th and 18th, 2025 at SQU. In addition to the presentations and workshops we are inviting you to submit proposals for, there will be international plenary, keynote and featured speakers.

Conference deadlines

Abstract submission (150 - 300 words):

Deadline: December 7th, 2024  

Acceptance notification:

February 10th, 2025 

Presenter registration*: 

February 10th to February 20th, 2025

Participant registration (early bird registration) 

November 18th, 2024 – December 31st, 2024

Participant registration (regular registration)

January 1st, 2025 – March 31st, 2025

Full paper (3000 - 5000 words max) submission for publication in the conference proceedings 

March 15th, 2025

 

Deadlines will be strictly adhered to. If payment is made through direct deposit into the conference account, the date of transaction receipt must be prior to deadlines. Please ensure therefore that your registration and payment are sent well before the deadlines. Please note that there is NO on-site Registration or payment for the conference.
